The pitch was to create something related to the nature and the spirit. The Japanese setting came later.
The Ujigami is the round shaped rock, which is cover by human hands stencil (like Europe's cave painting) in order to add a human' s reference. An Inugami (dog spirit) is the guardian of this holy place. The Inugami is represented as a broken statue, fixed with gold following the Kintsugi philosophy.
